Russell Cox President & CEO
Russell Cox is President and Chief Executive Officer of SourceOne Solutions. He founded the company in 2017, bringing more than 20 years of industry expertise, leadership and management experience.
Russell manages the overall direction of the company, facilitating sales, company goals, initiatives, as well as ensuring top-level customer experience. His passion, energy, and drive are the heartbeat of the company. Russell believes the company’s success has been and will always be based on its core values – Honesty, Integrity, Accountability and Excellence.
Russell started his career working for an electrical contractor in Battle Creek, MI. Here he managed inventory, material for projects, and purchasing for the company. Russell had a passion to expand his career, which led him to electrical distribution. His first job was working in a warehouse for a regional distributor based in Michigan. This is where he began to learn the basics of distribution, including logistics, customer service, inventory, and general product knowledge. Learning quickly who the top companies were in the industry, Russell began pursuing one of the nation’s largest electrical distributors. Nine months into his pursuit, he landed a job working in customer service. Russell spent most of his working career (approx. 17 years) building his reputation in sales and managing some of the company’s larger accounts. Through the years, Russell climbed the corporate ladder, working many positions in sales and customer service before landing a management job in St. Louis, MO, managing the lighting product segment. He later moved to Oklahoma City to manage one of the company’s failing locations. Russell spent four years in Oklahoma, helping that location to achieve record sales, consecutively, in each of those four years. After his final move back to St Louis, MO, Russell managed a team, as well as some of the largest accounts in the company. His drive and entrepreneurship ultimately led him to the creation of SourceOne Solutions.
Russell enjoys spending time with his wife and two beautiful girls. Whether it’s taking a family vacation, playing at the park, or rooting for their favorite team (Michigan Wolverines), he firmly believes family is a man’s number one priority.

Shane Perry VP of Energy & Marketing
Shane Perry is Vice President of Energy & Marketing at SourceOne Solutions. He joined SourceOne Solutions at its inception in 2017 and brings over 20 years of combined experience in electrical distribution, retail, and construction.
Shane leads the company’s marketing initiatives with a heavy focus on customer experience. In addition to marketing, Shane also manages the company’s energy services offering, including utility rebate programs and alternative energy.
Shane earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts from Kansas City Art Institute. He began his career in retail working for two major retailers – Home Depot and Michaels. It was during this time Shane learned the perspective of the retailer, as well as the importance of customer experience. He held multiple positions, but finished his time supervising his own team. In his pursuit of growth, Shane landed a position at one of the nation’s largest electrical distributors. Here Shane became a valuable member of the team, quickly growing and finding his niche within the company. Shane started in the financial sector, working in collections for national accounts. His outgoing personality and work ethic earned him a spot on the inside sales team, where he worked closely with customers in the federal and national accounts markets. Here Shane learned the ins and outs of taking care of customers and the importance of customer first. Shane maneuvered to strategic accounts where he began as a projects specialist, later being promoted to project manager, both dedicated to utility incentives, supporting both employees and customers nationwide. He ultimately ended up as the energy specialist on the national accounts retail team. Shane played a significant role in capturing tens of millions of dollars for customers in the form of utility rebates. It’s Shane’s positive attitude and his do-what-it-takes mentality that continues to propel his career and make his mark among his customer and vendor partners, alike.
Shane enjoys utilizing his handy skills, such as finish carpentry and stone masonry. He is also passionate about his family, which includes his wife and three children. They enjoy both time spent together (including outdoor activities, arts and crafts, and trips to the zoo), as well as with their extended family.

Cameron Shaffer VP of Operations
Cameron Shaffer is Vice President of Operations at SourceOne Solutions. He joined SourceOne Solutions at its inception in 2017 and brings over 10 years of experience in the electrical distribution industry.
Cameron manages the company’s operations, which includes order fulfillment, project management, logistics, and inventory. Cameron is ultimately responsible for the overall execution of top-level customer experience from a delivered goods standpoint.
Cameron began his career working for a subsidiary of one of the world’s largest electrical distributors in San Luis Obispo, CA. He started off in an entry-level warehouse position, but quickly began to grow. Through his laser customer focus and can-do attitude, Cameron became a key piece to the branch’s customer experience. He held several roles, ranging from warehouse to counter, before moving inside to join the sales and customer service force. Cameron’s responsibilities included general customer service, order entry, quote generation, and project management. He was entrusted with the location’s key accounts due to his positive attitude and customer-first mentality. Cameron eventually moved to Oklahoma City to be closer to family where he landed a position as projects specialist with one of the nation’s largest electrical distributors. Cameron had the responsibility of managing the day-to-day logistics for one of that company’s largest accounts. He was key in the growth of not only that customer, but that location in general. Cameron later seized an opportunity to move to St. Louis, MO where he would take on the role of project manager for the national accounts retail team. He continued to manage the day-to-day for his existing customers, while taking on several other national accounts in that region. Cameron’s passion for the customer, along with his unmatched work ethic, has solidified his reputation in the industry.
Cameron enjoys being a husband and father of two. As a family, they like to go camping, off-roading, and being outdoors.
